Some different rules apply to who will receive alerts through SMS or email. The most important ones are as follows:
Invitations to events
Those that don’t have the app will receive an email (depending on what you invited the member with). If the receiver has registered his or her e-email address or at www.spond.com, that person will receive an email.
Group posts
Those that don’t have the app will receive an SMS or E-mail (depending on your choice as the administrator). If you choose SMS, but the receiver has registered his or her e-email address or at www.spond.com, that person will receive an email.
Cancelled events
Those that don’t have the app will receive an SMS or email (depending on what you invited the member with).
SMS: Those that have accepted the invitation will receive an SMS. Those that have declined or yet not responded will not be alerted. However, those that have previously registered their e-mail or at www.spond.com, will receive e-mail.
Email: Those that are registered with e-mail will be alerted if they have accepted the invitation or not yet responded
Change of date and time of the event
Those that don’t have the app will receive an SMS or E-mail (depending on what you invited the member with).
SMS: Those that have accepted or declined the invitation will receive an SMS, but the ones that have not yet responded will not be alerted. However, those that have previously registered their e-mail or at www.spond.com, will receive an email.
Email: Those that are registered with email with receive an alert if they have accepted, not yet responded or declined the invitation.
Change of the place of the event
Those that don’t have the app will receive an SMS or email (depending on what you invited the member with).
