Why should Spond have access to my address book?

We only request access to information that we believe will assist Spond in giving you the best experience possible as a user. Spond requests access to the contacts in your address book since these are often the people that you will invite to your events. (However, it is also possible to add phone numbers or e-mails that are not present in your address book.)

Spond will retrieve the names in your address book when you invite people in order to show you the names of people that have responded to the invitation.  Only phone numbers are sent to Spond during this process, and over a secure and encrypted connection.

Your address book is still private, and no others user of Spond will ever get access to your data.

PS! Your privacy is extremely important to us, and we would never sell your personal information to anyone. You can enter this link if you would like to learn more about our privacy agreement.
