What should I know before I set up a campaign to raise money or enter this competition? 

We strongly recommend that you read the Terms & Conditions, the relevant specific rules and the Privacy Policy available at [link]. When you set up a campaign or enter the competition, you agree to be bound by and comply with these terms and policies. 

All use of the Service is subject to Spond’s Standard Terms of Use which are available at www.spond.com/terms. In the event of inconsistency between Spond’s Standard Terms of Use and these Competition Terms, these Competition Terms will prevail. 

Are there any age restrictions? 

Any Entrant who is under the age of 18 must have obtained permission from a parent or guardian to enter the Prize Competition. Spond reserves the right to require proof of age or proof of such permission from a Prize Winner before the prize will be awarded. 

Under what jurisdiction is the prize competition being managed? 

This prize competition is governed by English law. As a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in the competition terms affects your right as a consumer to rely on the mandatory provisions of local law. 

Does Spond charge a fee to manage this competition?

Yes, Spond will take a fee of 25% of the total cost of your entry. This includes sourcing of the Spot the Ball photos, the costs of the independent judging panel, hosting the competition site, managing payments, fulfilling the processing and fulfilment of the prize, plus any other ancillary costs related to the successful delivery of the prize competition. 

Are Spot the Ball competitions classed as gambling? 

No. Spot the ball competitions are classed as games of skill. Spond's Spot the Ball competitions are operated as lawful prize competitions in Great Britain.
